Course Description

Cooking Camp for Middle Schoolers

Register for one, two, or all three camps

These 3-day camps, sponsored by the University of Idaho Margaret Ritchie School of Family and Consumer Sciences, focus on teaching cooking skills and healthy eating to middle school aged adolescents. All food and equipment are provided. Each day recipes and cooking techniques will be taught. Campers will get hands-on experience cooking for themselves and enjoying foods prepared! The workshops will be taught in person in the Niccolls Building on the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, Idaho. Each camp has a minimum particpant requirement of 5 people, and a max of 10 people.

CAMP COST: $175


CAMP #1 — Study, Move, Rest

Learn to fuel with a busy schedule while prioritizing enjoying food.
August 5th, 6th, 7th
1-4pm

CAMP #2 — Cooking Across Cultures

Learn about other cultures by cooking and tasting global cuisines.
August 12th, 13th, 14th
1-4pm

CAMP #3 — Yes, Chef!

Middle school kitchen mastery one meal at a time.
August 19th, 20th, 21th
1-4pm
