No. Professional Development courses do not count towards a degree.

Please check with YOUR State Department of Education and local school district to make sure they will accept University of Idaho Professional Development credits.
Professional development courses are generally $60/credit unless otherwise noted. Some courses may have additional fees which will be listed in the Section description.
Unless otherwise noted, refunds are available within 14 days of enrollment in a course.
Professional development credits are graduate level, non-degree, semester credits typically offered to educators to acquire skills and knowledge for the purpose of certification renewal and salary advancement. One professional development credit is equivalent to 15 contact hours.

We use a (P) Pass / (F) Fail grading system. Grades are final once posted on your transcripts. No credits are awarded for any courses in which a F (Fail) is earned.

Incompletes - A grade of "Incomplete" is assigned only when the student has been in attendance and has done passing work up to a time within three weeks of the close of the semester, or within one week of the close of the summer session. It may be assigned only upon agreement of the student and course instructor when extenuating circumstances make it impossible for the student to complete course requirements on time. No. Professional Development Courses do not qualify for Form 1098-T because they are not applicable towards a degree.
