Electrical Grid Management: ADMS and DERMS Certificate

Modern electric grid operations depend on advanced situational awareness, automation, and secure asset management. This 16-week professional certificate program prepares participants to better understand, evaluate, select, deploy, and operate Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) and Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS).

Delivered jointly by the University of Idaho and Cleveland State University, the program combines technical instruction, industry insight, demonstrations, labs, and real-world applications.

• Understand ADMS and DERMS integration and real-world deployment considerations.
• Identify cybersecurity risks and strategies for improving digital grid resilience.

Participants will also engage with industry professionals through guest lectures, demonstrations, labs, and workshops.
