Course Description
Number of Credits: 1
Little Voices, Big Communication is a one-day workshop style training that will focus on AAC for early childhood (ages 3+) with an emphasis on learning AAC through play and emergent literacy activities.
Credit requires attending one of the following face-to-face statewide training locations:

Learning Objectives:

Demonstrate effective AAC modeling strategies across preschool routines and play

Required Materials:
Provided at the face-to-face training
Course Requirements:

Participation: Participants are required to attend the 1-day, AAC in the Preschool Classroom training in their selected location.

Quizzes Students must earn an 80% score on each quiz to pass the course. Quizzes can be retaken until passed.

Survey: Participants are required to complete a satisfaction survey at the end of the course.

Final assignment: (100 points) – Participants are required to complete and submit the Communication Activity Planning Assignment Form. Your final assignment will be submitted through the final assignment in Canvas.
Grading:

This is a Pass/Fail course. No incompletes will be given. Late work will not be accepted.

Participants must earn an 80% or better on the quiz to pass the course. Quiz can be retaken until passed.

Credit participants must earn an 80% (80/100) or better on the final written assignment to pass the course.

Participants must complete the online course satisfaction survey.
